This page states plainly what review our content receives, so that no reader mistakes an editorial fact-check for a clinical review.
Current status
As of the date above, no article on HealthDiseases.org has been reviewed by a licensed physician, pharmacist, registered dietitian or other credentialed clinician. No page on this site carries a "medically reviewed" label, and none will until a qualified reviewer has personally reviewed it.
What "fact checked" means here
Every article is checked by the Health Content Editor before publication. That check confirms that:
- each factual claim is traceable to a cited source of the kind described in our editorial policy;
- the article does not overstate the evidence for any treatment, supplement or ingredient;
- doses, reference ranges and numbers match their sources;
- the language directs readers to professional care where symptoms warrant it.
This is an editorial process, not a clinical one. It does not substitute for advice from a professional who knows your history.
If a medical reviewer joins
If a qualified professional joins the site as a reviewer, we will publish a profile with their full name, credentials, licensing body and a way to verify them. Only the specific articles they have reviewed will carry their name and a "medically reviewed" label with the review date. We will not apply the label site-wide, and we will not use stock photographs or invented biographies for any reviewer.
Emergencies and urgent symptoms
Articles flag symptoms that need urgent or emergency care. If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number (911 in the United States and Canada, 999 in the United Kingdom, 000 in Australia) rather than reading further.
