Corrections policy

We aim to be accurate, and we assume we will sometimes be wrong. When we are, we want to fix it quickly and visibly.

Reporting an error

Use the contact page and include the page address, the passage you believe is wrong, and — if you have one — a source. We read every report.

How corrections are handled

• Factual errors (a wrong number, a misstated dose, a mischaracterized study) are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. The page's "last updated" date changes, and a note at the foot of the article describes what was corrected and when, where the change is material to the reader.
• Product facts that have changed since our verification (a new price, a changed formula, a withdrawn guarantee) are updated and the "last verified" date is reset.
• Outdated guidance is revised when medical guidelines change; the review date on the page reflects the re-check.
• Typographical errors and minor wording fixes are made without a correction note.

We do not silently remove or rewrite content to hide an earlier error.
